On July 21st, 2021, CUROGEN, Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU), and Masan National Tuberculosis Hospital signed a tri-party MOU to collaborate on research into possible COVID-19 treatment substances.

Masan National Tuberculosis Hospital was established to combat multipledrug-resistance tuberculosis and features 354 wards, including isolation and research wards, as well as specialized research facilities. The hospital conducts research on contagious diseases under stringent infection control measures.

Under this agreement, the three organizations will collaborate to conduct antiviral efficacy tests of CUROGEN's drug candidate for COVID-19 at Masan National Tuberculosis Hospital.
